Sensitive Santa
ButtonA Sensitive Santa experience is specially designed for children and individuals with sensory sensitivities or special needs. We create a calm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where everyone can enjoy meeting Santa at their own pace.
During this personalized visit, we provide a quieter setting with softer lighting, minimal distractions, and extra patience to ensure each guest feels comfortable and safe. Sensitive Santa sessions allow for plenty of time to connect, capture photos, and make joyful memories—without the rush or pressure of a traditional Santa visit.
It's all about spreading holiday cheer in a way that is inclusive, compassionate, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. 🌟🎄

Music for Fun
ButtonThe St. Paris Public Library Music for Fun Program provides the opportunity for persons of all ages and abilities to participate in a hands on music and movement program that has been created just for them. Music is made up of patterns of melody, rhythm, harmony, tempo/dynamics, and timbre combined to create repetition, variation and contrast. We use these patterns to create music and we respond emotionally and intellectually to our perceptions and interpretations of these patterns of music. We provide each person with the opportunity to play a variety of instruments and be self-expressive with the music they create. We give basic instruction on each instrument to allow the player to understand how they work and what makes the sounds come from each instrument. Our movement portion of the program is to allow each participant to not only hear the music, but feel the rhythm and motion of many different genres of music. Each person is encouraged to physically express themselves in their own unique way without fear of judgement. It is our goal to provide a safe and inviting opportunity for persons with disabilities to express their creativity by manifesting all that they are-their talent and spirit-just as powerfully and authentically as they can.
